Meet My Family

I am blessed to have a beautiful family. My husband, Sean Gaught, has been my biggest supporter. My oldest son, Tristan (TC), has run so many errands to help me and my youngest, Torin, always adds just a little extra joy. I could not do this without their support.

My roots run generations deep in Crossett.
First, I am lucky enough to call Gayle and Gloria Deal, Granny and Papaw. If you have met them, then you know why I am proud they are mine.
If you ever had a meal at Tiebel’s Restaurant, then you probably knew my great granddaddy, Herbert Tiebel. (I inherited zero of his baking skills, but all of his work ethic).
If you were taught by Ms. Tiebel or Ms. Gourley? That is my grandma and great-grandma. (If they tortured you with flash cards, do not hold that against me).
I know that some people will say, “It doesn’t matter where you come from, it only matters where you go,” and that could be true as well; but if you wonder why Crossett is so important to me, then I think it is important to see just how deep my roots are here.
When we start talking about why I want to be mayor and see our small businesses flourish, our sales tax revenue increase, our amenities improve for our children, our community come together, and our infrastructure be as efficient as it can be; I think you should know that I want all of those things because my love for Crossett is generations deep. My family is here, so I am here.

One interesting thing about our family is every year we do the "Hunt for Christmas Magic" and we all get together and do a list of events. We always go to Centennial Park for photos before we start Christmas Light Bingo. Which is a scavenger hunt around town with a bingo card made up of real houses, Mom (Denise McMillan) makes this game for us every year and we ride around town and play it.
One thing you can't replace --- COUSINS ---and we raised Tristan with all of his so we want Torin to do the same.
