Other than attend and promote every event that I knew about, I also did things like build parade floats for basketball teams, organize cleanup days, sponsor group mentorship programs, help with travel ball teams etc. I've hosted and helped with community tailgate parties.  I kept the stats for James D. Rankin, M.D. Trophy and worked with Kristy Stocker to build the spirit wars in 2018 when the football stands weren't "loud" enough. We gave away thousands of dollars in prizes that year. I've worked on the Centennial Park Christmas Display(even before I was a city employee.) Once I opened my shirt business I started donating shirts, bag tags, and other printable things to whoever I could help out. My love for this community goes way back.
