I am Val McMillan Gaught and I am 37 years old. I am currently your Parks and Recreation Director and already have experience managing a department in your city.

I am asking for your vote because I know I am the right candidate to lead Crossett forward. I created this page to outline my views, my industry and revenue plans, and my family. I want you to know who I am and where I come from, but most importantly I want you to know that I have a plan to move Crossett forward.  I want you to know that I understand how local government works and I have a really good understanding of the way the law works as well. I don't know everything, but when I don't know something I don't stop looking until I find it.

Crossett is my home. I chose to come home to raise my family here and I want others to be able to do the same.

My commitment to Crossett didn't start this year. I have been working in the community (even before I was a city employee). Look at some of the community projects I have been a part of

I have support from a lot of really great people. If you are interested in who you can ask about me find out            .
